Adoration on Sunday 2nd May

Please note that the Holy Hour of Eucharistic adoration will begin at the slightly earlier time of 2:30pm this Sunday. The church will remain open for private prayer from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. The usual programme will resume on the following Sunday, 9th May, the last day of the lockdown restrictions.

Sunday Mass Livestream

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be broadcast live from St John’s Church, Waterford each Sunday at 1pm during the lockdown. Watch on Facebook or on our new YouTube channel. By subscribing to the channel, you will be alerted to upcoming Masses.

Adoration and Confession

St John’s Church will be open for private prayer each Sunday from 2:30pm-4:30pm, during which time confession will be available. There will be a holy hour of Eucharistic Adoration from 3pm-4pm each Sunday when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.

Petition to Ease Restrictions on Public Worship

In response to the concerns of the bishops of Ireland regarding disproportionate restrictions on public worship, not seen in other member states of the European Union, please sign this petition which calls on the elected members of Dail Eireann to lobby the Taoiseach and the government to ease current restrictions on public worship particularly in relation to funerals, Sunday Mass, and the impending celebration of Easter.

Upcoming Feast Days
