Eucharistic adoration before Our Lord in St John’s church from 11pm to Midnight followed by Sung Midnight Mass.

NB: The Midnight Mass takes the place of the usual 11am Saturday Mass.

Chant for the Nativity

For six consecutive weeks, Sancta Nox: Christmas Matins from Bavaria, on the De Montfort Music label, has been Number 1 on the US Billboard charts for classical music.

Carols begin 30 minutes before each Mass.

Midnight Mass in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Barronstrand Street, Waterford.

Confessions available from 11:15pm
Please note the different location for this Mass.

Advent Day of Recollection

Saturday 18th December
11am to 3:30pm
St John’s Church, Waterford

Programme as follows:
11am  Holy Mass, followed by refreshments
12.15pm  First conference
1pm  Lunch (bring your own packed lunch)
2pm  Second Conference
2:30pm  Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, with opportunities for confession. Concluding with Rosary and Benediction, finishing at 3.30pm.

Golden Mass of Ember Wednesday

7:30am on Wednesday 15th December in St John’s Church, Waterford 

The traditional candlelit Mass of Ember Week in Advent.

NB: This Mass takes the place of the usual 5:30pm Wednesday Mass.
